The starters may experience some problems with it however they can be overcome easily once the straps were in place as described. I have used it at different times of the day and even have had my friends but I have not observed any error in its readings. Once again the key is to apply the cuffs as mentioned in the manual and after that let the machine does it work itself. You will find that the readings are always consistent and 99.99 percent correct.
My only complaint is that the particular model does not have an ADAPTOR provided by it. Also there is no information provided as to what type of an adaptor is required. Since there are no ratings available the only option is to buy an adaptor from the company, Omron itself. However that is really expensive.

The Blood Pressure Monitor gives proper reading once you follow the instructions carefully. Make sure the cuff is worn correctly in your left arm. You have to wear it about a 1/2″ above the elbow so that the arrow on the cuff will point to the inside of the elbow on the cuff. The arrow has to be centered with the middle finger. You can also wear the cuff on your right arm if you are not comfortable with it on your left arm. My husband has only pointed about one problem, that the unit has a limited memory. This makes it incapable for storing any reading for the two people.
Also it is not able to store the readings on a memory card. Also the readings can not be downloaded through a computer USB port so as to make a spreadsheet. Well my husband says that it should be a problem because it was never mentioned in the ads. So from him it’s five out of five stars for the wonderful Omron HEM-711AC.
